The company is initially a HVAC
contracting company.
1980
In addition to the HVAC
operations, Michel Cinier creates the first hydronic radiator installed inside
walls.
1982/83
Development of custom heating
& cooling solutions for the Wineries of Bordeaux.
Cinier receives the Product
Innovation Awards at the Sitivi international Fair.
1983-1990
Research and development in
partnership with one of the top-ranking French Engineering schools
« Ecole d’Ingénieurs des Mines d’Ales
»: development of a new concept of radiator offering a more radiant,
comfortable and aesthetic heating
solution.
1990
Manufacturing of the first
radiator in Olycale stone using the hydronic technology and offering decorative
& artistic designs.
1994
First electric version of the
Cinier radiator. Launch of the first bathroom heater collection.
1999
Stephane Cinier joins the company
as the head of Business Development.
2001 & 2002
Cinier receives the acclaimed
R&D Awards “Oscars de l’Innovation” for the use of the Olycale stone
in the Cinier radiators
(Interclima & Expotherm tradeshow).
2002
Sale of the HVAC contracting part of
the company, and expansion of Cinier’s sales throughout Europe
and
in Russia.
2006
Johanne Cinier, designer for
Givenchy, joins the company to develop the “One-Off “ Collection.
2007-2009
Research & development to
create a more ecological, efficient and aesthetic heating & cooling
product:
the Greenor fan coil.
2010
World patent P.C.T of the new
Greenor fan coil product. Launch of the product on the French, Swiss
and Norwegian markets.
2011
Official launch of the Greenor fan
coil in Russia at Aquatherm
Moscow and in Germany
at ISH.
2012
UL 1995 and CSA C22.2 No. 236-
Standard for Safety Heating and Cooling Equipment in the Nord American market-
for the GREENOR Fan coil unit.
